About Me

After growing up in Southern Saskatchewan, I moved to Edmonton in 2000 to attain a Bachelor of Professional Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. While living in Edmonton, I met my husband, Gary, and we have since been blessed with our son, Aiden.

Over the past 16 years, I have experienced first-hand what it is to be the wife of a Police Officer working the front line. I have felt the highs and lows that he experiences on a daily basis and have seen the stresses that come with his profession. I know it can be hard on a family but, having found ways to manage the stress and maintain a balanced lifestyle, I am eager to offer support to other spouses who may find themselves in a similar position.

My passion for living a balanced life, and helping others do the same, doesn’t stop there. Personally, I have lived with Lupus, an autoimmune disease, since I was 15, learning the importance of taking care of my body at a young age. During this time, I struggled with mild depression not knowing how to handle a chronic illness at such a young age. My passion for mental health awareness and resiliency comes from a combination of her own struggles with mild anxiety and OCD, family members who have struggled as well as seeing first-hand the effects the job of a first responder has on members and their families.

Professionally, I am a Speaker and Certified Oola Life Coach, specializing in goal setting. I work with clients to show them that it’s never too late to dream again, that everyone has been put here with a purpose and that they can achieve work-life balance, and live a life filled with passion.
